Monitor Ball
映像表現の可能性を探求するアーティスト山城大督が「TSUGU京都三条」のテーマである「ローカルへ旅を継ぐ」を起点に制作した映像彫刻作品。本作品のためにつくられた装置を用いて、瀬戸内や京都で撮影した風景を360度から鑑賞できる。
The art piece “Monitor Ball” was created by the artist Daisuke Yamashiro who explores diverse possibilities in video-based expressions. This particular piece was dedicatedly made under the concept of “evoking one into local travels” which is the main theme of TSUGU. The Monitor Ball is a video sculpture in which a specially made video system is applied and is the art piece which one can enjoy from any angle the united landscapes filmed in local sites such as Setouchi and Kyoto.
